Eliyaju (they/them) is a theatre artist based in San Diego, California. Eliyaju enjoys performing, teaching, choreographing, directing, and devising. In their free time, you can catch them meditating, journaling, chatting with friends, or spending time with nature. They graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2023.

 

Eliyaju started dancing at 5 years old. They competitively danced with the studio Danceology before joining the Mojalet Dance Collective throughout their teen years. Their love for acting also started from a young age as they trained at Tower Talent Studio West before doing community theater in San Diego in middle through high school. Alongside dancing and acting, Eliyaju began voice lessons in middle school and participated in advanced choir groups and a cappella groups in high school. They have found a love for directing and choreographing alongside performing. Before their undergraduate studies, they performed at Legoland California Resort as a LEGO Friend. For several months post-grad, Eliyaju taught their choreography weekly at Fly Together Fitness and currently teaches private dance lessons in San Diego and sings at The Unity Center on select Sundays.

Alongside their passion for the arts, Eliyaju teaches and does healing sessions on Insight Timer, is a Reiki Master practitioner and intuitive spiritual guidance coach, is the podcast host for Context, and is a dog-walker/sitter.
